Alliances

Alliances can be made up of 2 or more sites (up to all of the Codd Campers if they all agree). All member-sites of the specified alliance must agree to participate in your specific alliance, and they all have to fill out this section in their responses. Confirmation on Facebook is not enough. Alliances will be considered valid if the single person who reserved the site agrees with another person who reserved a site*.

*If a responsible adult (aged 15ish+) wants to form an alliance while their host site does not, or if a responsible adult does not want to join an alliance while their host site does, they should fill out the form with the relevant information to make sure they are not bound to the whims of the site owner.

You may form as many unique alliances as you want. If you decide to form another alliance after this form is filled out, fill out another form with your information.

Alliances are unique in that they are dependent on the individual members. A person who joins a new alliance with a member of any other alliance is not bound to the other alliance’s rules.

All alliances must be mutually agreed upon. All alliances must be recorded here before August 1st.

If you choose a person to join you in your alliance, you will be contacted (by FB Messenger) to verify your intent for them to join you on the Saturday following your submission of the form.

If you respond in the negative by the Monday (8pm EST) following your submission, the request will be terminated.

If you respond in the affirmative or do not respond to the message by the Monday (at 8pm EST) following your submission, the person will be contacted regarding their desire to join you in your alliance on the following Tuesday.

To be clear, all members of an existing alliance must agree to the alliance, and all members will be contacted on the Saturday mentioned above to allow the person to join in your alliance. If there are no dissenting votes sent to the organizer (JB), whether in a group chat or personal message, the process will move forward.

Because of any potential conflicts, you must add the name of the alliance you do not want the additional person to join with you (you won’t be named in the rejection message).

All rejections to join an alliance will be kept as private as possible (if you are not willing or able to join one, it will only be mentioned that you cannot join them; if you, as part of an expanded alliance, reject a potential member in a separate message, it will only be mentioned to the group that the potential member was unable to join.)

If the invitee is allowed in, all members of the alliance will be updated as soon as possible.
